Chelsea Physic Garden: 350 Years in Paint and Print is an exhibition of works by selected artists of the Royal Watercolour Society (RWS) and Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE) marking the 350th anniversary of Chelsea Physic Garden.
After a brilliant collaboration between Bankside Gallery and Chelsea Physic Garden that resulted in an exhibition in the Summer of 2021, the two organisations are thrilled to be working together again on another exciting project. Over the past year, selected RWS and RE artists have had access to the garden to be able to study, record and document it throughout the changing seasons. The resulting works will make for a unique and vibrant exhibition at Bankside Gallery celebrating the history and significance of London's oldest botanic garden.
