Following a year's break due to the pandemic, the Royal Watercolour Society are excited to announce the return of our annual open submission exhibition.

 

Formerly known as the Contemporary Watercolour Competition (among many other names during the exhibition's 50+ year history), the RWS Open is the largest open-submission water-media exhibition in the world, attracting thousands of submissions nationally and internationally each year.

 

This year's selectors are Brit Pruiksma (Founder of Mothflower), David Remfry RA RWS, Jill Leman PRWS, Chloe Fremantle RWS and Wendy Jacob RWS.
