Ever since Coronavirus put normal life on hold, we have all had to adapt to new ways of living and working. Many artists of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers have had no access to printing presses during this time, and therefore had to find new ways of producing their work. For this reason, and for one time only, the Society is excited to deliver an exhibition of works in all media.
Despite the practical challenges for many, the lockdown has still been a hugely productive time. This exhibition reflects some of the ways that the RE members have adapted and responded to these unusual circumstances, and allows us insight into how this extraordinary global situation has filtered into their creative practice.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the national lockdown, Bankside Gallery is temporarily closed and all staff are working remotely on reduced hours.
