RWS GALLERY AT WHITCOMB STREET £90-100 10.30AM - 4PM

Watercolour is sometimes an unpredictable medium, but it doesn’t have to be scary. Starting with a fresh sheet of white paper can be daunting, but in this workshop, Sophie will aim to help students think more impulsively when applying paint to paper. Sophie will demonstrate her own methods of starting a painting, showing techniques such as ‘wet on wet’ experimentation, large blocks of colour wash, and how to create depth.

This course is suitable for students with a small amount of experience with watercolour. Sophie will help you to develop confidence and a sense of freedom with the medium.

This workshop will take place at the new RWS Gallery on Whitcomb Street, just off Trafalgar Square.
