Noah Carter (b. 1992) is a filmmaker and artist based in North Essex. He trained as an architect, being nominated for both the RIBA Bronze and Silver medals, before setting up his own film production company, working with other artists and makers to document their work.
In his own practice, Noah uses his growing collection of houseplants as source material to produce watercolours on paper and Aquabord - a paper-like ground with a texture similar to cold-pressed paper. Working from direct observation he encourages us to look again and appreciate the complexities and idiosyncrasies of the ordinary things that surround us everyday.
