Alice Macdonald (b. 1992) studied at Falmouth University, 2014, and The Royal Drawing School, 2017. Since graduating she has been living and working in London.
Recent successes include being shortlisted for the Sequested Prize 2020 and the Dentons Art Prize 2021, and longlisted for the Ruth Borchard Prize 2021. She has undertaken several residencies including The Drawing Marathon at Rhode Island School of Design, USA, a teaching residency at The Institute of Fine Arts, India, and a painting residency at Dumfries House, Scotland.
In June 2022 she exhibited her work in her first solo show,The Gentle Vibration Of Things, curated by Paint Talk at V.O curations, London.
