The most important subject in Pilar’s work is the concept of time and how it affects the individuality of each human being. Her inspiration comes from her daily routines, her obsessions, worries and thoughts appear constantly in her work. Artists who influence Pilar are Louise Bourgeois and Juan Muñoz. Her work is a mixture of different techniques, from painting, photography, sculpture, and collage to printmaking.
