Beach Play
Francis was born in 1952 in London. He studied at St. Martins School of Art and Chelsea School of Art in London. Colour and light have always been at the heart of the subjects that Francis is drawn to. Understanding and a familiarity that comes with a subject whether it is landscape, interiors or still life are very important to him. The more a location is understood through drawing and painting, the more possibilities make themselves available to explore visually.
