September Fruits on Copenhagen Dish
Hilary studied painting at the Slade School of Fine Art and printmaking at Chelsea School of Art. Awarded the Prix de Rome scholarship and scholarships to Greece and Spain; her Mediterranean influenced subjects include allegorical figures and still lifes of fruit and flowers. Her woodcuts are drawn from life and hand printed on Japanese paper, one wood block for each colour, creating rich overlays of colour.
