  • Bankside Gallery has nestled on the Thames Path between London Blackfriars and the Tate Modern in Bankside, London’s thriving cultural quarter, for over 45 years. The gallery represents more than 300 artists who are among the finest practitioners in the fields of contemporary water based media and original printmaking. These artists have a considerable pedigree as elected members of two historic royal societies: the Royal Watercolour Society (RWS, established 1804)  and the Royal Society of Painter- Printmakers (RE, established 1880), so you can buy their works with confidence!

Designed by the much loved and missed  Richard Bawden RWS RE, they are available in multiples of £10 and can be exchanged for artworks or items from the bookshop.     Bankside Gallery offers hundreds of wonderful, original paintings and prints, available to buy immediately and have delivered directly to your door. A selection of work is available in our online store, and our wider catalogue can be viewed on our artists' pages.
